Getting Started
Creating an account on UmitPath takes less than two minutes and is completely free. Follow the steps below to get set up.
Publishing a Portfolio
Submitting your portfolio adds your experience to the catalog and helps other students see what a successful application looks like. Here is how to do it.
You can edit your portfolio at any time. Edits go through a brief re-review. To delete your portfolio permanently, go to Settings → Portfolio → Delete.
Subscription & Billing
Premium access costs $2/year and unlocks all portfolio fields. Payment is handled by Stripe.
To cancel, go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Access continues until the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
Account & Settings
Manage your account from the Settings page.
- Change your name or email in Settings → Profile.
- Change your password in Settings → Security.
- Download all your data in Settings → Privacy → Export data.
- Delete your account permanently in Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
Moderation
Every portfolio is reviewed by a human moderator before publication. This keeps the catalog accurate and trustworthy.
- Academic information appears plausible and internally consistent.
- No fabricated or misleading scores, results, or letters.
- No other individuals are identified without their consent.
- No spam, promotional content, or external links.
If your portfolio is rejected, you will receive an email with the reason. You can edit and resubmit. To appeal a decision, email moderation@umitpath.org.
Privacy & Data
UmitPath collects only the minimum data needed to operate the platform. We never sell your data.
- Download your data: Settings → Privacy → Export data.
- Delete your account and all data: Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
